On a wild leap of faith I started HKS with a pretty simple goal; provide HR solutions that are respectful of both the owners who bear the risk, and the employees who work tirelessly on their behalf. As I've had the privilege of working in the construction industry both as an owner and an employee, my experience has allowed me to develop a unique, yet fair and realistic approach to HR. Excess procedures and policies are unnecessary, but making sure your ducks are in a row, or at least waddling in the same direction, is critical.
We live in an increasingly litigious society surrounding the employer/employee relationship, and the role of HR has never been more important. As owners navigate the ever changing workforce environment, my hope is that I can provide the support and knowledge to alleviate undo stress.
